Background: Cyclosporine (CSA) is required as a prophylaxis of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) following allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT). However, subtherapeutic CSA concentration will increase the incidence acute GVHD which one major concerns. Objective: This study aims to identify patients who achieved therapeutic initial level with standard intravenous dose 1.5 mg/kg BD, occurrence and factors associated at in post-HSCT patients. Method: A retrospective single-centred was conducted involved 69 underwent HSCT between January 2020 December Hospital Ampang. The assessed were patients’ demographics, concurrent medications, liver renal functions. Mann-Whitney test, Kruskal Wallis test Spearman correlation used sub-therapeutic concentration. Result: 17.4% had (200-400 ng/mL) among patients, 37.7% them developed post-transplantation. Besides, only ethnicity serum creatinine significantly affected levels. There no significant association GVHD. Conclusion: With able achieve due drug pharmacokinetic variability different individuals. Hence, this served baseline for future prospective clinical develop population model optimising desired range improve outcomes.
